How to: use the life wheel to make positive changes in your life.

One of my favorite ways to do a quick life check before I step into the office on Monday is to use the life wheel.

The life wheel is a visual tool to help you assess your current life, priorities, and goals to see if you're living in alignment with what matters to you.

Don't worry, we're rarely ever in perfect balance.

That's what makes the life wheel so valuable.

So, how can you use the life wheel to make positive changes in your life?

Step #1:

Look at the entire wheel (above).

Think critically about each category.

Which categories are you excelling in?

Which ones are you falling short in?

What matters the most to you that might need some extra attention this week?

Step #2:

Choose one area to focus on this week.

Step #3:

Once you've identified the area you want to focus on, make a plan.

For example:

This week I want to focus on exercise & nutrition.

Here's my plan:

Monday - barre class

Tuesday - 5 mile run

Wednesday - rest day

Thursday - 4 mile run

Friday - barre class

Now it's your turn.

Which area will you choose to focus on?

How are you going to implement?

As a leadership coach, I'm able to witness women making profound changes in their lives by being bold & courageous in the small things.

You can do this too. Check out my coaching programs here for leaders & teams.
