The Well Studio was born for all humans to commune more deeply with themselves, with one another, and with the world. At TWS, we curate  each of our classes, retreats, wellbeing workshops + teacher trainings with the philosophy that we as human beings have the capacity to tap into our highest potential and live it out in this lifetime. The ancient wisdom practices that we find in yoga support our wellbeing, our highest purpose, and connect us back to the heartbeat of who we are. We believe that your mat can be your safe space ~ a space to engage in body-mind connection and to commune with the beauty of life moving in and around you.

BEHIND THE WELL STUDIO

Our story + humble beginning goes back to our roots as a digital yoga and meditation studio in the midst of the pandemic.

As an Aquarius, Marissa knew the power of community and the need of the human spirit to connect in order to feel whole. The Well Studio was born for all humans to commune with themselves and one another on their yoga mats.

Marissa believes that yoga is a healing science & an art form. Her vision for The Well Studio was to create a container of peace for individuals to commune with the experience of life as it unfolds ~ and to never feel like they have to do it alone.

Growing up influenced by her Grateful Dead loving hippie parents, she designed Process ~ a methodology which moves students through static and dynamic yoga postures driven by the beat of music, the pulse of your breath & highly curated playlists for a soul-opening experience.

Her decade plus of experience as a yoga teacher & leader in the wellbeing industry has impacted every element of The Well Studio from the classes you’ll experience, to the retreats we’ll take you on, to the trainings you’ll immerse yourself in.

As the lead trainer for each of our highly intentional yoga teacher trainings, Marissa guides students to know themselves more deeply through these practices and to live their yoga on & off of their mats.

The Well Studio curates each of our classes, 1:1 sessions, retreats, wellbeing workshops + teacher trainings with the philosophy that we as human beings have the capacity to tap into our highest potential and live it out in this lifetime.

Marissa Rose

FOUNDER OF THE WELL STUDIO

Marissa fell in love with the practices of self-discovery & yoga 11 years ago after taking one yoga class in college. As a young ballerina, she immediately fell in love with the dynamic movement that yoga offered and the ritual-based practices that came along with it. After one class, she was hooked and began her first 200 hour yoga teacher training the following week.

She’s since completed two 200 hour yoga teacher trainings, her 300 hour yoga teacher training in Yoga Psychology with Ashley Turner, advanced yoga teacher training with Justin Reilly, has studied Jon Kabat Zinn’s buddhism influenced mindfulness based stress reduction meditation program, and completed her masters degree in organizational leadership and executive coaching.

She’s been a certified holistic life coach for 7 years and is currently being privately mentored under world renowned yoga teacher, Elena Brower. In 2023 she completed a 60 hour meditation & the mind course with global Kundalini Yoga Teacher, Kia Miller.

Marissa has taught over 3,000 hours of yoga, has led 11 yoga teacher trainings, was a lululemon Ambassador in Philadelphia, traveled and led 3 international retreats, and taught yoga classes for the Eagles players for their 2022 season.

She currently lives in New Mexico and is the founder of The Well Studio, where hundreds of students are tapping into their own wellbeing, self-discovery, and body-mind wisdom on their yoga mats.

Classes with Marissa are tantric in essence, weaving all layers of being into an experience of self-knowing that will rejuvenate you, awaken you, empower you, & remind you of who you truly are.
